Batman

Wayne Manor, owned by billionaire Bruce Wayne is located in Gotham's ritzier neighborhood, Gotham Heights. It's an impressive mansion, with many rooms and levels, built on an expansive property that includes a length of woodlands behind it. The property itself has as much going for it outdoors as it does indoors, and boasts its own tennis court, swimming pool, and an elaborate garden.

First Floor
The entry hall into the manor is nothing short of grandiose, and this theme continues through-out the first floor, with soaring ceilings and polished wooden floors, plenty of marble, and plush, ornate carpets. There are plenty of places to sit throughout the hall, and corridors to hide away in and relax. This is, after all, where Bruce does the majority of his entertaining. Charity Balls are not an uncommon sight around the Wayne Manor, particularly during the holiday seasons.

The first floor contains a den, a foyer, and a parlor. There is a large ballroom for events, and a dining room with a dry bar adjacent to the manor's state of the art kitchen, one complete with a butler's pantry (and secret storage). There's a gym; a game room with a wet bar, and it's own full bathroom; a library; a gallery; Alfred's private suite; and several closets of various purpose scattered about. There is also Dr. Wayne's Office, which has remained mostly untouched since the death of Bruce's father. Nearby it is one of Bruce's own private studies. This study contains the impressive and looming shape of an ancient grandfather clock, which is one of the hidden entrances to the Batcave below. The password to the clock's door is the exact time of death of Bruce's parents, an eternal reminder to himself why he first became The Batman.

Second Floor
The second floor consists largely of bedrooms. Jason and Dick's bedrooms are here, both of them largely untouched. There is also a singular large guest suite with a full bathroom and walk-in closet, as well as three smaller guest rooms, and two very large, apartment-like 'family guest suites'. The family suites contain their own small living areas, each a full bathroom, a kitchenette, one main bedroom, and one smaller secondary bedroom. Both family suites have their own balconies attached. Further in the wing a secretary's office can be found, as well as several storage closets, an ironing room, a sewing room, and a handful of bathrooms.

Third Floor
The third floor is mostly Bruce's own quarters, though he does occasionally take guests up to the entertainment room, which has a lead out to a large balcony and its own private video library adjacent. Bruce's bedroom contains its own balcony, a full walk-in closet, and its own sizable bathroom. Bruce's personal office can be found on this floor, as well as a larger meeting room, and a few, mostly empty rooms currently being used for storage.

The entertainment room, Bruce's office, and the meeting room all have their own fireplaces. The fireplace in Bruce's office, however, is a false fireplace concealing an elevator directly down to the Batcave located below the house.

Basement
Finally, we have the basement, which is mostly utilized as storage. There is a sizable wine cellar and dry goods storage, and the laundry and furnace rooms are also down here. There are two larger rooms being used almost exclusively for storage, one with a large safe, and the other with a small make up room towards the back.

Security

State of the Art Security System
The mansion above the cave also benefits from the security system installed throughout the house. The grounds and public parts of the house are fitted with both motion sensors and infrared security cameras capable of tracking individuals moving below the speed of light. If an intruder is detected, silent alarms are triggered, alerting Bruce and other members of the Bat-family to their presence and location.

Foggers and Scrubbers
Beneath the lawn on the grounds, and in each room of the house are small devices that are capable of emerging in the case of an intruder. Each device is capable of delivering into the environment a potent knockout gas-- a security upgrade pioneered by Wayne Tech after a rash of break-ins at the Wayne Manor.

The Foggers can also double as air scrubbers in case of smoke or a biological attack.

Identification Recognition System
Outside of a few backup entrances kept purposefully low tech in case of a technological attack, the Wayne Manor has become completely keyless. Entry is now achieved when doors are locked through facial, voice and behavioral recognition technology. Failure to match ID in three tries activates a silent alarm present on each member of the Wayne household and after a warning, activates the foggers in the direct area of the attempted entry.

Guard Dog- Ace
Ace is a big, sleek looking dog-- all curves and edges. He looks like a guard dog is meant to look, and comes in a solid black that fits in just fine with the Batfamily style. His eyes are a dark brown, but more often appear black unless there is significant light, and most likely he is a mix between a Great Dane and a Rottweiler. He's usually equipped with a studded, dark purple collar around his neck that carries his tags, though Ace is also chipped in case he loses the collar somehow.

Ace's best weapon is himself. He's a big dog, for starters, and powerfully muscled. Sold as a puppy to a high tech dog fighting ring, he's been brought up to fight, for better or for worse. He's also shown stunning intelligence for a dog on multiple occasions, and is quite protective of Bruce.

In terms of sheer strength, he has been seen to throw a man clear across a room with just his jaws, bite through an electrified manacle, and even survive a zap from one of The Joker's joy buzzers.

The Batcave has a long and storied history underneath the Wayne family's care. During the civil war it was used as a safehouse for escaped slaves, and today as a command center, lab, and refuge for Gotham's own Batman.

Located beneath the Wayne Manor, The Batcave can be accessed through many entrances. Three exist on the property itself-- one behind the grandfather clock in the downstairs study, and another through an elevator entrance in the fake fireplace in the upstairs office. The last is accessed somewhere behind the Manor, found by going through a hard light hologram used to disguise the entrance to look like the sheer side of a cliff face.

Other entrances lead directly in and out of Gotham City. Underground rivers lead out into Gotham Bay, and ancient tunnels have been transformed into a personal subway tunnel leading into the maintenance tunnels beneath Gotham's own subway system. Another tunnel leads into Gotham sewers, and yet another to a dry well on the Manor's property. Lastly a hangar opens up somewhere in a clearing deep in the woods beyond the house. Bruce isn't one to leave himself with only one way in or out, after all.

The Cave itself is powered by a Hydrogen Generator, allowing it to be completely off the grid, and is linked up with many of Wayne Enterprises own satellites, allowing maximum surveillance of Gotham and the world at large at all times.

First level
The first level of the Batcave can be accessed from both the stairway entrance through the grandfather clock in the manor above's office, or through an elevator reached through a separate office on the top floor of the manor, behind a false fireplace. The first level of the cave contains a Crime Lab, complete with a DNA spectrograph, an electron microscope, an area for ballistic analysis, and several other specialized mini-labs. Nearby there is the quarantine lab and medical facilities.

The first floor also contains a vehicle hangar, starting with the hydraulic turntable the Batmobile usually rests on. The hangar contains vehicles for both land and air, as well as a separate space for vehicle repair and maintenance.

Lastly, there is the hall of armor. This is Bruce's personal collection of different batsuits, historical armors, and costumes of fallen or departed allies.

Second Level
The second level of the Batcave contains most of the cave's technical facilities. The supercomputer that Bruce uses for surveillance and research is the main centerpiece and is complimented by a nearby hologram emitter programmed by J'onn. There is a workshop on this level as well, for technology design, production, and research. There is also a gymnasium, a weight room, and a training dojo on this level, and the containment area for the cave's Hydrogen Generator. The Batcave's trophy room has its own area here, but the displays can be found throughout the cave in general.

Third Level
The third level of the cave is transportation and containment. An underground river flows through a good deal of it, and the docks for all of Bruce's aquatic vehicles are here. There is also a hidden subway rocket terminal, which allows Bruce access into Gotham City's subway system.

The third level is meant to hold the most dangerous of the cave's contents as well. Bruce has a set of specialized holding facilities on this level, meant to contain and subdue omega level metas, mostly by rendering them unconscious and keeping them that way. These are, however, only meant to be temporary holding cells.

Bruce keeps The Batman's personal arsenal on this third level. The items held in his vault are not for everyday use, but for special threats and disasters, and are used far less often than his typical inventory. Items here are also held for research.

Lastly, there is a hidden vault Bruce keeps that holds various types and sizes of kryptonite. At the moment he has several chunks of green kryptonite: he has a ring, a broken statue resembling a jade dragon, and a small piece of unmodified, natural kryptonite. There is also a small fragment of red kryptonite about the size of a quarter that is kept in an extra layer of containment.

Security

State of the Art Security System
The grounds, cave and public parts of the house are fitted both with motion sensors and security cameras. If an intruder is detected, silent alarms are triggered, alerting Bruce to their presence and location. Within the cave itself are also retractable walkways and thick, double seal, steel alloy doors capable of locking in or out intruders remotely. All security measures of course, have manual overrides accessible to those who know the codes and can complete the voice confirmations.

Lock Down Protocol
When the Batcave has been compromised, thick bulkhead doors fall into place, sealing off whatever parts of the Cave that Batman needs to. Only override commands given by Batman or another authorized user will deactivate the lock's protocol, though there is a back door only Bruce and Alfred know of in case of extreme emergencies. The way through is difficult however, and very claustrophobic.

Beyond this, these sealed off areas can be slowly deprived of oxygen or filled with knockout gas via the main computer terminal.

Protective Systems
The Batcave's computer system contains a wide range of firewalls and interference halos to protect from hack attempts and viruses. However, should an attempt be successful, the system is programmed to upload a virus of its own into whatever machine is attacking it.

The Batmobile

Sleek, black, and packed to the rim with technology, Batman's car is almost as formidable as the man himself. Loosely based on the 1936 Ford Coupe, the Batmobile is much longer and more powerful, painted with night black, anti-reflective paint and possesses dual turbo engines to give it a massive kick where needed. Both the windows and the body of the car are made from bullet proof materials, while gel filled, puncture proof, flame resistant tires protect it from below.

The Batmobile offers many tools to protect both it and its driver, as well as neutralize outside threats.

Oil Slicks and Smoke Clouds -- The Batmobile is capable of ejecting a viscous, biodegradable fluid that acts as an oil slick would, though without the dead animals and environmental destruction. The car is also capable of producing a thick fog to muddle and confuse pursuers.

Five Stage Anti-Theft System -- The Batmobile has a system of anti-theft devices that gradually progress into more extreme deterrents if a potential thief doesn't get the hint. The car will first shut down and lock down while sending an alert to both Batman and the Batcave. Further tampering will fill the interior and exterior of the car with knock out gas, progressing to hypersonic trilling spheres and motion tracking glue guns. Finally the car will electrify itself, inside and out, with 70,000 volts. As a last resort, the car can be remotely self-destructed by Batman.

The car can be remotely driven, both through Batman's cowl and Alfred in the Cave, and features smart technology that enables it to guide itself through Gotham's most challenging streets with ease. The Batmobile is capable of reaching 266 mph.

Supercomputer
The Batcave's supercomputer, which is the cave's very core, is a powerful hunk of technology whose specs are thought to be equal to or better than the technology possessed by leading national security agencies. Beyond being composed of the best earth has to offer, it has also received the occasional technology boost from the Martian Manhunter or Superman.

Linked to Wayne Tech Satellites, it permits global surveillance and connects the cave to a massive information network run by Oracle, accessible only to Batman and his allies. The systems are protected against unauthorized access, and any attempt to breach this security immediately sends an alert to Batman or Oracle.

Teleporter to the Watchtower
The Batcave contains its own personal teleporter to and from the Watchtower to be used in case of emergencies.
